The Garden of Forking Paths

This Bitsy art game is a whimsical retelling of the famous short story by Jorge Luis Borges. Explore the divergent paths of the labyrinthine garden, while leafing through cut up fragments of the original tale, reconstructing new drafts in the process.

Instructions / Tips

The garden is deliberately (mildly) confounding to traverse. You only need to wander around, enjoy the scenery,  and read excerpts of remixed material from the writing tables that are located all around. If you manage to visit every writing table at least once, you will unearth the hidden centre of the garden labyrinth (although reaching this 'end' is perhaps not really the goal).
